We are wondering if the Chem_Name field in the Environmental_Standards table has any function beyond being a human eye check that the Enviro standard chem code is correct ?

Hi Justin,

It is simply to record the Chem Name as given in the original regulatory or licence conditions so that the data in ESdat can be easily reviewed, and also the validity of the ChemCode assigned verified.

It would be better if it was called "Original Chem Name" for consistency with the Chemistry Results table where that same approach is used, and we intend to do so in a future update.

Regards,

Warwick
