I am receiving this error, performing the Chemistry QA Checker. ExcelOutput"171ESdat Class does not support automation or does not support expected interface"

This error appears to be generated by an issue with MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) on the PC. Pasting and running the following under Start - Run appears to fix it as far as ESdat is concerned. regsvr32.exe "c:\program files\common files\system\ado\msado15.dll" You may need Admin permissions to run this, and it is possible that the file indicated (msado15.dll) is stored in a different directory (although we havn't seen it), in which case you will need to search for the file and adjust the text above.
