Thanks: 1 times

I have some MS Access databases, that have been modified to encompass some new functionality for calculating LNAPL recovery.  As the amount of data increases they have become more prone to crashing.  An interim solution has been weekly backups with running compact & repair using both MS Access and ESdat.  Recently running the Compact & Repair in ESdat (5.1.35) has prompted a "23250 File not found" error.  Any suggestions?  (The MS Access compact & repair still works, and we are looking to migrate the data to a SQL Server database in the near future).

Thanks

Natalie

Hi Natalie,

Does the compact and repair still work for other databases through ESdat?

I'm curious to know if the problem is just related to your custom databases, or if it is affecting your standard databases as well.

As the compact and repair in Access is working, I would recommend continuing to use this option for your regular database maintenance.

Thanks,

Nick
