Thanks: 1 times

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a easy way to change the output units for water from mg/L to µg/L across multiple analytes and databases. The only way I have been out to figure it is to change each analyte output in the z-ref chemistry lookup table per the below.

Cheers

Kurt

Hi Kurt,

You can update multiple analytes at once by filtering for the chem names you want to change and then editing and filling down the unit field.

For MS Access based implementations of ESdat, you will need to do this in each Project database you want to update.  An efficient way to do this is by creating an import template from your updated z_Ref table by exporting it to Excel and then using it to update your other databases.

For SQL based implementations, you can do this using the Server Web Interface "Bulk Edit Units" tool, which will then apply the updated units to any Project using the particular Chemistry Profile.  More details of Chem Profiles can be found in our Online Manual here: http://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/index.html?chemcodes2.htm and here: http://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/index.html?chem_names.htm

Thanks,

Nick
