When trying to record a macro in an ESdat output Excel table, there is a "VBAProjectPassword" message that pops up asking for a password. I did not create a password so have none. Are ESdat chemical output Excel tables disabled for recording macros? How can I get rid of this so that I can record a macro for efficiency to work with the output tables?

Hi Erica,

You shouldn't save macros within a single ESdat Chemistry Table.  If you want to use it across different workbooks you should save it in a seperate & single workbook (such as is described at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-and-save-all-your-macros-in-a-single-workbook-66c97ab3-11c2-44db-b021-ae005a9bc790).

Regards,

Warwick
