Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has come across the need to prioritise their exceedences based on factors other than sensitivity? If so, how has this been done and/or can it be done.

The example I use, is that when testing groundwater in a service station, for some analytes there exists an Australian publication, however for others we are required to use an American publication as no Australian guideline exists. The American publication data however also has guidelines for the analytes where the Australian guideline exists and these are much higher.

ESdat automatically formats the HIGHESt exceedence, however we want to have highlighted the exceedence of the adopted (most relevant) criteria.

I hope that tihs can be done, if not, can ESdat make it possible, through allowing exceedence formatting on one selected cell within a criteria, rather than the whole criteria being selected?

Thanks

Libby

Hello Libby,

ESdat can colour based on priority, as shown on the screen image at http://www.ESdat.com.au/ChemTables.aspx .  You may need to look a the tutes if you're not sure how to get that look.

If that isn't what you are after, you can always consolidate the two guidelines, or delete the US values you don't want.
