When creating Exceedance labels within ESdat -from a combined compound.. We are sometimes getting the floating point issue whereby the number runs on -- eg "0.449999999999999999999999" Instead of 0.45 - which is the number we see in the the Chemistry_results table when we look. However Export the Chem_results table to excel - and the .4499999 number is visable there.

Hi Justin, It is likely that the number generated from the combined compounds and stored in the database is to that many (unrealistic) decimal places. Some outputs won't output to that many and so will round it ( meaning you get what you actually want). When doing a dump from the database it is just providing it as is. If there is a particular combined compound (with weightings perhaps) it is doing it for and you can send the combined compound info and the results for a sample that have the issue that would be a good place for us to start so we can replicate it. I suspect it's pretty rare...
Regards, Warwick
