Setting defaults for exceedance color/shading in ESdat Web

I am trying to set default colors/shading in ESdat web directly using MS SSMS. It appears this is controlled in dbo.zx_ChemTable_EnvironmentalStandard_Settings; however, this table does not list all of the Action Level Sources that listed in dbo.zRef_Environmental_Standards_Config, which seems to control the defaults for ESdat Desktop. How do I get the rest of the Action Level Sources in the ESdat Web table?

Hi Nick, That's not the way to do it, you are bound to run into problems. In general you shouldn't try to access application or cofiguration tables that are hidden from the user in ESdat Desktop, there is a reason those tables are hidden!
The only way to set the exceedance colours is via the user interface. It may be a bit painful specifying it for each if you want to set it for a lot, but it's very straightforward and fast for each one. Warwick

So if I set it in ESdat Web it will carry through all new projects for all user accounts?

Hi Nick, Yes. The colours etc.. are saved as a "Layout", which can be used by mulitiple projects / users. See https://www.ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/chem_table_layout.htm Regards, Warwick
