Hi there, wondering if there is a way to output all chem results for one sample (i.e. one field ID) where there have been multiple analyses (i.e. two or more sample codes corresponding to the one sample/field ID) on one row of the excel output table?

Currently, we have two scenarios that lead to results being spread across several rows of the chem output: a) labs reporting total soil concentrations & leachable soil concentrations for one sample with a different sample code for each; and b) where a rebatch has occurred for additional analysis.

Attached is an example of the output. As a result, we are manually editing chem output tables to have one row per sample, which is not a sustainable solution. We are using ESdat online.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Thanks for letting us know.  The lab should be reporting just the one sample for each sample received from the field, not seperate samples for leached and non-leached results.  For the re-batch it would depend on if the results were all issued in one re-issued lab report.

I'll follow up outside the forum to see if we can get a copy of the lab reports to discuss it with the lab.

Regards,

Warwick
