Thanks: 1 times

Hi Support,

I noticed for a particular lab report each sample is duplicated in the chemistry table section. You can see from my screen shot that each Samplecode is repeated:

Duplicate row.PNG (98kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

Why is this happening?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If you scan across the rows, I suspect you will see two results for at least one of your analytes (perhaps due to different methods).

When ESdat encounters two results such as this it shows them both on different rows.

The idea is that you can then validate them, and adopt the value you want by setting a validation qualifier and filtering.

Have a look at the online manual for how to set qualifiers.  I would flag the ones you want to remove as ‘R’, and then filter them out.

https://ESdat.net/ESdat_Online_Help/index.html?data_qualifiers_and_comments.htm

You can also set the Chem Profile to ‘Group By: Method Type’ or ‘Group By: Method Name’, which will use the chem grouping provided by the lab in the EDD: https://ESdat.net/ESdat_...l?chem_name_grouping.htm

Thanks,

Nick
