I have one project that will not generate tables using our custom table template. All other projects use the template. What is causing this and how do I correct?

Hi Nick,

It sounds like you must be using ESdat Desktop with an Access database and a Project Specific Template, see https://www.ESdat.net/ESdatHelp/template_directories.htm

Warwick

Warwick,

I am using ESdat with a SQL Server. This problem affects only some projects. I have tried resetting the template path to no effect.

Hi Nick,

ESdat Desktop doesn't change template path on a per project basis if used with the Server database, so it must be something else, maybe intermittent access to the file server.

You can check the template path that is being used by clicking on the "?" button on the top right of the Chem Table form (ie as shown at https://ESdat.net/ESdatHelp/format2chemistryoutputtables.htm).

Regards,

Warwick

Too many characters in header. It was using the template but centering the entire header rather than outputting an error message like ESdat Server does.
