Hi guys, We modified one of the existing tempaltes to remove some columns and widen the width of the remaining columns which achieved the desired result, however it appears the the first letter of some of the material description entries and Additional observations dissapears. E.g.: 'SILTY CLAY' becomes 'ILTY CLAY' 'No hydrocarbon staining' becomes 'o hydrocarbon staining' Attached is the file saved as .wpd for the purposes of allowing upload here. Have n this type of error been seen before? Environmental Well-custom.wpd.ESlog (6kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Hi, The ESlog templates only control the layout, not the actual content, of the log. The content is translated from ESdat to ESlog using a GEDTS file. If you're using ESdat Desktop, I recommend looking at the gedts files in your template directory to see if any have been modified recently. You can also try using the one from your ESdat installation directory to see if this resolves the issue. If you're using the web-interface, the gedts can be checked under the ESlog section of Licencee management: http://ESdat.net/ESdat_Server_Help/eslog.htm If you're using this, you'll need to check that your configuration is referencing the correct template and gedts. Cheers, Nick

Hi Nick,
We copied the content of an unedited ESlog gedt file from the program file directory into the standard ESlog configuration section of ESdat web, however this issue persists when we select the standard template.
How can we revert the standard ESlog templates in ESdat web?
Thanks

Hi Ben,
I've restored the Standard GEDTS file in your Web Interface, and the default templates are now working as expected (it's slightly different to the one used by ESdat Desktop).
I would definitley recommend not editing this file in the future, but create a new one based off of it.
I'd be curious to know if you update your ESlog configuration to use the default GEDTS resolves the issue with your custom template.
Cheers,
Nick
