Hi, I have imported some historical soil data. I can see it in the chemistry_results section, but when i got to the soil/rock chemistry, it isn't there. Is there something I may have done or change for it to show in the soil/rock chemistry as well?

Hello, Please have a look at http://www.ESdat.net/ESdathelp/index.html?chemistry_units.htm http://www.ESdat.net/forum/yaf_postst221_missing-data-in-water-chem-table.aspx http://www.ESdat.net/forum/yaf_postst11_result-not-being-displayed-in-the-chemistry-output-table.aspx I'm sure unit conversions is the issue. Kind regards, Heide

Oh actually, it isn't working the way I thought. I created a conversion unit as 1 for mg/kg (measurement unit) - mg/L (output unit) and my metals are now in mg/L. Though it is in my soil chemistry. Is there a way to have it in my soil chemistry as mg/kg, even though I have leachate results that measure soils in mg/L and not get a flag in the unit conversion check list? Jufar

Hi Jufar, Yes, you should make sure your output units for a Soil (ie Solid) matrix is mg/kg. Leached results should have a Result_Type of Leached_Reg, and should come that way from the lab, http://www.ESdat.net/Lab_Specifications.aspx If not, please ask your lab to contact us for clarification. Leached results are automatically output in the Liquid (not Solid) units. See also http://www.ESdat.net/For...t400_Leachate-Units.aspx Regards, Warwick
